Photo walk planner for iPhone

Turn places into a photographic notebook.

Ruta Foto keeps reference photographs, locations, field notes and ideas together, then helps you decide what is worth revisiting.

Ruta Foto showing a visual library of photographic ideas
Works as a complete field notebook on its own.

Built for returning to the field

Find the idea again.

Ruta Foto is not a generic photo gallery. It organises photographs around the places, notes and future decisions that matter to a photographer.

Field map

Browse pins and clusters, inspect what is around the current map area and begin a plan from any neighbourhood.

Photographic cards

Keep the image with notes, place, film, camera, time-of-day idea and other context worth remembering.

Places library

Group several visual ideas under the same street, station, neighbourhood or photographic location.

Focused walks

Build a practical sequence from the available time, preferred area and the ideas already in your notebook.

Current native app

Map. Photos. Places.

These are real screens from the current iPhone build, shown with a small demonstration library.

Optional connection to app 01

Use Ruta Foto alone.
Connect Ruta Meter when useful.

Ruta Meter is not required. When both apps are installed, an exposure report can become a Ruta Foto card without retyping its technical information.

1

Measure

Save the scene in Ruta Meter after choosing film, EI and exposure.

2

Transfer

Approve one report, or let a linked Film Roll queue each Shot locally.

3

Develop the idea

Add notes, organise the place and plan a return from the new Ruta Foto card.

The connection is optional and local. It is not cloud synchronisation, and neither app needs the other to perform its main job.
